Have You Switched to ClientConnect, Yet?

The time is now to switch to our updated client portal, ClientConnect and Collaboration Center! Come January 1st, 2018, Finance System of Green Bay, Inc. will no longer support the old Client Web Link.

So, if you are currently utilizing the old Client Web Link and would still like to have online access to your accounts, you will have to contact our office, before 12/31/2017, to be set up with a ClientConnect login.

Why wait until December to make the change? Convert, today, by contacting Jennifer at jennifer@fsgbcollections.com.

Credit Bureau Changes Almost Upon Us

Next month, the three major credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion will officially implement their reporting updates, as discussed in past blogs.

In addition to providing a full name and address, we will be required to provide an individual’s social security number and/or date of birth to be able to report an account to any one of these agencies.

To help make sure we can list your referrals with the credit bureau, here’s a little reminder of some simple things you can do:

• Get as much information as possible at the initial visit/contact
• Verify the information each time you have contact
• Get a copy of their driver’s license

Forward Check Payments to Us!

Being a client of ours has many perks. One of those perks is being able to forward us any check payments you receive from an individual written off to collections.Even if the check is written out to the original creditor, we still have the ability to deposit and apply the payment to the account without an endorsement.

By forwarding payments directly to our office, it helps cut down on accounting issues, and the liability of having to remember to contact us of the payment also decreases.

If it is easier for your office to just forward check payments to us, please let us know. We can provide you business reply envelopes, so you don’t even have to worry about postage!
