November 27, 2020 Blog

Continuing education has always been a key driver to the development of our staff and growth of Finance System of Green Bay, Inc. Just recently, my senior management staff actively participated in the ACA International Fall Forum on November 4th and 5th, 2020. As with most conventions, it was held in a virtual forum which is still challenging for most attendees and exhibitors.
The curriculum was broken down into different tracks in which each of my management staff attended the corresponding classes. Our team came back with new acquired information to help cultivate the latest skills.
Here’s What We Learned:
Danielle our Collections Manager says:
“One of my greatest take-aways from this year’s ACA 2020 Fall Form, is learning new strategies to connect with my team while working remotely. This year has presented many challenges, but with challenges bring opportunities. In creating new ways to have human connection while we are keeping
our distance, creating ways to motivate our staff, and maintaining productivity. In a virtual world brings a new way to stay engaged through virtual contest,
themes, providing a platform where our team can connect, share, and interact. At a time of uncertainty, allowing a space for staff members to
freely express their concerns opens an opportunity to feel heard. Creating a safe environment not only eases concerned individuals but also empowers
individuals, increasing job performance and overall satisfaction. Only together, can we persevere.”
Another track was attended by Brittany. our Operations Manager:
“The ACA forum was filled with information regarding all different areas of our industry, from the election and how that would affect the laws we are governed by, to tips and tricks on how different agencies have dealt with and adjusted to remote work-forces. It was interesting to hear and see how different people in different places have had to adapt to this “new normal” world. One of the speakers said “Don’t think things will go back to the way they were. You must reinvent yourself and your company.” With that statement I took a step back and thought how valid his words were in today’s life, but also how we shouldn’t need a pandemic to make us think outside the box. We should always be looking to reinvent, reinvest and reaffirm in our people and in turn, our business.”
The last track was attended by Stacey, our Legal Department Supervisor:
“ACA webinars helped to reaffirm that our company is doing all the right things. We are
always analyzing and researching to make the correct decisions in various matters, even in the changing world we live in.
We should always be prepared for anything and have a plan. Even if something may fail, you must keep your head high and
get through the hard times as a team.”
As the classes ended after the 2nd day with our industry peers, all three came away with the confidence that Finance System of Green Bay, Inc is using best in class practices in the debt collection arena to collect on our client’s accounts.
