Expert resolution team leads 60% return on collection accounts

Whenever a new account is listed, the consumer has a right to dispute the balance, at any time. To overcome the dispute, our expert collection staff will request additional information from our client.

Finance System of Green Bay, Inc. has tracked these disputes for the last year and has seen a 60% collection recovery in these accounts where debt validation was sent and subsequent follow-up phone calls were attempted.

To expedite these requests, make sure you are signed up with ClientConnect and watch for emails notifying you of items uploaded to your Collaboration Center.

Additional fees change patient paying behavior

Want to make sure your bill is the first bill that is paid off? Add legally allowed fees to past due balances!

A recent survey, by GM Healthcare, shows that about 67% would try to pay off a bill early if it were to have additional fees added.

Finance System of Green Bay, Inc. offers a collection fee program which adds a fee to an account listed in collections. This is pursuant to information obtained from the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions for adding a collection charge to accounts placed for collection.

Reports on Chrome

Did you notice your reports looking a little different while using the Google Chrome web browser?

Our software development company is aware of the issue and is looking for a fix. In the meantime, if you download the report before viewing it, the reports look great. Or, you can use a different web browser to view your reports

What’s New Here?

Making an investment in our employees: Our employees must utilize a computer and phone for most the entirety of the work day, and that means they sit…a lot.

To help combat the health risks of too much sitting, like heart disease, diabetes and strain on mental health, we have invested in standing desks.

Standing desks have many benefits. It’s been shown that utilizing a standing desk can lower risk of weight gain and obesity, may lower blood sugar levels, may lower risk of heart disease, reduce back pain, improve mood and energy levels and may even boost productivity.

For the times when our employees must sit, we’ve also invested in back cushions for our desk chairs to help ease back pain and encourage proper posture, which also helps to alleviate back pain.

Collection team complete, again: In April, we let you know that two of our employees were expecting babies! Both employees had healthy babies, this summer, and as you saw in last month’s blog, Jennifer returned to work in August. Since then, Samantha has also returned to work in the account recovery department. We, and her team, especially, are so happy to have her back!

Software developer hosts open house: This past month, our software developer, Roydan, hosted an open house to their clients. We were in attendance to learn about the continuing enhancements and training opportunities available to us.

Question from our inbox:

“How will I know you are going to pursue legal action on an account I have sent to your office?”

Answer: We will not pursue any legal action without authorization from your office. So, be on the lookout for a suit authorization. This will indicate that our office has deemed the account a good case to pursue legal action on, and we are looking for your approval to do so.
