Escaping rooms to encourage team building

If you follow us on Facebook, you know, this month, our staff participated in a team building activity to encourage teamwork, building off of each others ideas and figuring out a way to work together to escape a room at Green Bay Escape.

Each group had to work together to solve clues and riddles that led them to their final escape from their room.

Everyone came back with raving reviews of the whole experience and a better understanding of how we work together.

If you are looking for a different tool for a team building activity, we highly suggest an escape room in your area.

glass_detective_code.jpgStatements via Clientconnect need monthly retrieval

Are you set up to receive your monthly reports, via ClientConnect?

It’s important to log in and check those reports, monthly to see if anything has generated. Statements will generate if we need to bill your office for a payment you received in-house. So, a statement may be generated even if there was no check mailed to you.

By checking this monthly, you can also keep track on whether or not you should be expecting a check from us that month. That way, if you did not receive your check, by the end of the month, you can contact us to see where that check is.

To find your statements in ClientConnect, follow the steps below and see image.

  • Click on the “Reports” tab
  • Click on the report titled “Statements”
  • A list of all your past statements will be viewable starting with the most recently generated. You can view or download this report for your records.

    glass_detective_code.jpgPayment Reporting

A topic so important it warrants repeating. Payments made directly to your office for accounts in collections **MUST** be reported to us, as soon as possible.

If payments are not reported to us, we are reporting your information, incorrectly, to the credit bureau. By reporting your information, incorrectly, we both are in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The penalties and fines for violating the FCRA have been discussed, previously.

We cannot stress enough how important it is to report payments to us as collection agencies and their clients have had lawsuits filed against them for just this reason.

Reporting payments to our office is easy. You can either call our office at 920-431-7220, option 1, or you can report payments online, via ClientConnect.

    glass_detective_code.jpgWhat Is New Here

Successful server installation: We were able to successfully integrate a new server which offers us the ability to offer our clients new features being released from our collection software provider while also providing an additional security layer to our infrastructure.

Front-end staff grows by one: We welcomed a new hire, at the end of February, to join our front-end team. Lisbeth joins us with an eager attitude to learn her role and expand on her abilities. She will help the front-end team to accurately and efficiently enter accounts, answer phone calls and aide with many other daily job duties our front-end team has. In addition, Lisabeth will help our representatives with translating conversations with our Spanish speaking clientele. We are thrilled to have her!

    Question from our inbox:

“We received a payment from an insurance company. Will you take your commission on this payment?”

Answer: Yes. If we have had and worked the account, insurance payments would be charged a commission. What we do not charge for are any write-offs or adjustments an insurance company may make, in addition to the payment. These payments and adjustments need to be reported to us, in a timely manner, so we can properly report this to the credit bureau.
